Labor Day weekend is upon us and we are looking forward to a long weekend. For many, this 3 day weekend is the symbolic end of summer. Others are looking forward to the start of fall sports season with football games to watch. We thought it would be a good time to share another tasty recipe!
White Barbeque Sauce On Chicken
15 ounces of mayonnaise (1/2 a jar)
1/2 cup apple juice
1 cup white vinegar
2 1/2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons course ground pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Blend ingredients in a mixer for 2 minutes. Dunk hot chicken in sauce immediately after removing from grill or smoker. Then plate and serve. Optional: Before dunking chicken, set some sauce aside to serve with entree as a dipping sauce.
